Katrell Webb is a four-star edge rusher in the class of 2026 and totaled 68 tackles and 13 sacked as a junior. He helped Collins Hill to a second round playoff appearance and could be a driving force behind the Eagles this season on a defensive line including four-star Deuce Geralds.
Webb, who holds over 30 offers from all across the country, ultimately limited his list down to three schools: Indiana, Purdue, and Florida State.
Thank you God, big thanks and shouts out to my family members, coaches and teammates. The process has been amazing. I’ve been through it all and I am a true testament of following Gods greater plan! With that being said i will be committing July 4th! Wheres home!?! pic.twitter.com/ZcuEhySgre

Florida State was one of Webb’s earlier offers coming in last June. He has since visited Tallahassee on occasion, most recently a few weeks ago. Florida State already had multiple Georgia based commits including Xavier Tiller and Devin Carter. Webb would be a big addition to Florida State’s defense.
FSU went 2-10 last season, but are expected to make a big bounce-back this season.
As for Indiana, the Hoosiers had a breakout season in their first year with new head coach Curt Cigannti. They made the college football playoffs and will look to do the same this year. Indiana has 19 current commits, however Webb would be one of the highest ranked players if he commits. He visited Indiana at the start of June.
Purdue is the final team of his top three. Purdue has a new head coach in Barry Odom who is looking to turn around the Boilermakers. Odom takes over a team that went 1-11 last season.
Webb still holds them high on his board, and visited them at the start of June.
Purdue already has a commit from Georgia in its 2026 class from Buford’s Dream Rashed.
Collins Hill will begin its 2025 season when the Eagles take on the defending 6A champions, Grayson.
