Auburn or Virginia Tech? Kentrell White, a Midtown Class of 2026 recruit, has announced that he is down to his final two colleges after receiving 22 offers from schools like Vanderbilt, Duke, UConn and Pittsburgh. University of Georgia head coach Kirby Smart even made the trip to Midtown High School via helicopter to see this top recruit.
The Grey Knights had a record of 2-8 last season and went 1-6 in region play, and over five years have had five new coaches with Calvin Arnold set to take over the program for the upcoming 2025 season.
As a wide receiver and safety, Kentrell White gets it done on both sides of the ball. Across eight games in 2024, he recorded 950+ all purpose yards, 40+ receptions and 10 touchdowns.
White received his offer from Virginia Tech on May 21 and then had an official visit on June 20. He received his offer from Auburn on January 9, and made his visit there in March. White posted on social media that he plans to announce where he is committing to this Friday, July 4.
